Work with our instructors to learn or improve your sewing skills! We have several talented instructors who will guide participants to learn/relearn their sewing machine or you can use one of the library's machines. Learn/Relearn the basics (as needed) and then you can work on project(s) to create what you are interested in. Get assistance when you need it. Choose ONE of the following times and dates for a series of four sewing classes. We've set aside a 5th week in the schedule, just in case it is needed due to missing one week due to inclement weather.
-Mondays 10-11:30, starting January 6
-Wednesdays 2-3:30, starting January 8
-Thursdays 2-3:30, starting January 9
-Thursdays 6-7:30, starting January 9
-Saturdays 10:30-12, starting January 11
Sewing classes are made possible by the generosity of the Friends of Springfield Town Library and an ALA LTC grant.
“Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities is an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).”
