About this Event
Date & Time: Sunday, March 9th, 4:00-7:00p
Location: Heal the Hood (484b Centre St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130)
Join us for a sewing circle where we will collaboratively quilt the poetry of Marcellus Williams. I’ll guide participants in the trapunto quilting technique—a method I’ve been learning over the past year—that adds weight and presence to each word we stitch. Through this meditative yet labor-intensive process, we’ll work together to honor his poetry in a meaningful way!
If you’re unable to join this time, don’t worry; this will be a multi-session series. No sewing experience is needed, and the event is free and open to the public.
