Sewing Circle 1.12

Join us for a sewing circle open where we will collaboratively quilt the poetry of Marcellus Williams. I’ll guide participants in the trapunto quilting technique—a method I’ve been learning over the past year—that adds weight and presence to each word we stitch (examples pictured). Through this meditative yet labor-intensive process, we’ll work together to honor his poetry in a meaningful way!

If you’re unable to join this time, don’t worry; this is a multi-session series. No sewing experience is needed, and the event is free and open to the public.
