Sew Your Own: Snood & Mittens

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Get ready to cozy up this winter with our fun and hands-on sewing course on Monday 20th January at 10:00 am at the Lairg & District Learning Centre!

In "Sew Your Own Snood and Mittens for Winter," you'll learn how to create your very own stylish snood and matching mittens. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some sewing experience, this course is perfect for anyone looking to add a personal touch to their winter wardrobe.

Over the duration of the course, we’ll cover everything from choosing the right fabrics and understanding basic sewing techniques to cutting patterns and stitching your creations together. You'll get to experiment with different colors and textures, allowing you to design pieces that reflect your unique style.

By the end of the course, you’ll walk away not only with a warm and fashionable snood and mittens but also with the skills and confidence to tackle more sewing projects in the future. Plus, you’ll meet fellow sewing enthusiasts and enjoy a supportive, creative environment. So grab your sewing machine and let’s make some winter magic together!

Please bring along:

• Sewing machine
• Scissors
• Any coloured thread you would like to use, and corresponding bobbin colour (we can do this at the start of the class, if it is easier)
