ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Join us on Thursday 18th July at 10:00 am at the Lairg & District Learning Centre for a fun and interactive workshop where you'll learn how to make reusable Nappies.
Through hands-on instruction and guidance, students will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to design and construct eco-friendly nappies for infants and toddlers.
Topics covered will include selecting appropriate fabrics, understanding nappy patterns, sewing techniques, and proper care and maintenance of reusable nappies.
By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and ability to produce high-quality, sustainable nappies for their little ones. Join us and take the first step towards reducing waste and creating a more environmentally-friendly future for your family.
Prior sewing experience required, as you will be using some tricky fabrics.
We have material here for use; however, if you would like to bring your own, please contact us for fabric specifications. Alternatively, bring with you any spare duvet covers/pillows, or any other scrap fabric to use!
