Location: Anna Templeton Centre
278 Duckworth Street
Instructor: Christina Oates
Cost: $188 per person ($376 for 1 adult and 1 youth)
This NEW class is designed for parents/adults & youth to take together! Register yourself and a creative kiddo in your life (daughter, son, grandchild, nephew, etc) and learn how to use a sewing machine together, side by side. Participants will all learn how to use the features of a sewing machine, measure and prepare fabric, how to follow a pattern, and more. Each person will create their very own lined tote bag and zippered pouch using basic techniques.
Only 6 seats available in sewing classes, which allows for more one-on-one instruction. Machines are provided to use during class for each person, students are required to bring a basic sewing kit and fabrics as noted below. We recommend 1 child per adult but we're open to 2 depending on availability. Kids must be age 10 or older.
Note: Visit website to register or view supply list. The price listed includes 2 seats so if you have a second child you'd like to register please email us to inquire about availability (cost works out to be $188 per person.)
