Sew Good- Sewing Course: INTERMEDIATE/DRESSMAKING ESSENTIALS (Thursdays) T1

SEW GOOD returns to gather you up a lifetime of future sewing successes.

For graduates of the Beginners class or sewers with base skills looking to progress to learning dressmaking and more advanced techniques, the Intermediate / Dressmaking Essentials course is designed to improve your reading of designs, fitting patterns, marking fabric etc. You'll leave having created pants, an A-line skirt, and a dress, and with a mountain of new knowledge and notes to continue improving!

Let our friendly expert trainer Lynn Burton masterfully guide you through the essential skills over this popular, long-running 10-class short course.

BOOKINGS:

Full-term fees are only $150+BF for 10 weeks of classes, to be paid prior to the commencement of classes.

Plus CAHRS membership of $25 (or only $10 for 17 & Unders) if you are not already a member for the year the course takes place (available as an add-on when you check out).

INSTRUCTOR: Lynn Burton

Sewing since she was 8 years old, Lynn has been a CAHRS member for a couple of years, is a Fairbridge Craft Retreat alumni, was the assistant teacher for these sewing classes before taking both classes over as the teacher a few years back. Passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly, expect to learn LOTS!

TO BRING:

BYO sewing machine, essentials kit (needle, thread, scissors, pins, tape measure etc) and materials. Please note, kits are able to be purchased at the event if you cannot organise one yourself and don't have access to these base items.
