Severn Trent’s Big Boost for Cov!

Connecting you with jobs, employers, skills and support

We see you, Coventry. We hear you.

You want tomorrow to be better than today, for you and the people around you. Whether you’re looking to get into work for the first time or need a change, Birmingham is full of new opportunities, new skills, new chances. So let’s bring everyone together to boost Coventry’s potential.

We want everyone to have the best chance of success. And we’re right by your side. Plus, we’ve spoken to a few of our friends to help us out.

Take the next step at Coventry Transport Museum on Thursday 14th November 2024 between 10am and 2pm. You’ll find:

• amazing employers who have live (full and part time) jobs available now at all levels and want to speak to you.

• our very own experts offering live sessions on CV writing, interview practice and how to grow your confidence at work, helping you to feel ready to take that next step.

• organisations who can offer cost of living advice, getting back into work and more.

We’re all different in this city of a thousand trades and a million faces. But we’ve got one thing in common – we want the best for each other and the communities where we live.

And there’s nothing we can’t achieve if we all come together.

Just look at this time a two years ago when we made Birmingham the centre of the world during the Commonwealth Games, showcasing our amazing city and the people at the heart of it.

Why are Severn Trent doing this?

Coventry is one of the biggest city on our patch, and we love providing everyone with our wonderful water. We know how brilliant it is to live and work here too.

It’s been a difficult few years for lots of us – whether that’s from the pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis or any number of other reasons. We know times are hard for many people.

But Coventry is bouncing back and there’s plenty of opportunities that we want to make it easy for you to access.

We’re already doing what we can to help people with their water bills. But we want to do more for people in our communities. There are quite a few things we know about helping people into work and helping them move upwards. Plus, we know lots of other organisations who can help too.

Let’s do right by our water, our communities, and each other.
