The Severe Weather Seminar will be in East Peoria this year and feature speakers from the National Hurricane Center, National Weather Service, Meteorologist Chris Yates and MANY MORE. Break out sessions on dust storm response, weather apps and more. This years event will feature speakers from:

- Meteorologist Chris Yates - Talking about VIPIR and severe weather operations
- Skip Talbot - Talking about storm spotter safety.
- The National Hurricane Center discussing inland hurricane impacts and hurricane center operations.
The Severe Weather seminar is open to the public, first responders and any weather enthusiast.
