“Seven” is a female empowerment group designed for female-identifying teens ages 13 to 17. Inspired by Indigenous culture, this group is rooted in the 7 Sacred Teachings—a set of principles that guide how we treat others. These teachings, which include respect, courage, humility, wisdom, honesty, truth, and love, are the foundation of building strong, supportive communities.Over the course of our time together, we will explore each of these teachings and how they can empower you to embrace who you truly are. We’ll hear from women who’ve overcome challenges and followed their dreams, despite societal pressures, and learn how kindness and humility lead to a more fulfilling life.Through group activities, we’ll focus on building self-esteem, setting personal goals, letting go of biases, and learning to love ourselves—so that we can extend that love to others. This group provides a safe, inclusive space for all.
This group wioll take place weekly on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm, beginning March 27, 2025.
