About this Event
SETsquared Workshop: enhance your competence as a line manager
Workshop leader: Amy Armstrong, award-winning leadership and wellbeing coach and clinical hypnotherapist.
Good line management is at the heart of an effective organization. This workshop, led by Amy Armstrong of The Executive Alchemist, will reflect on the line manager’s role and give you concrete ideas for building your, and your organisation’s, competence.
The session will reflect the fact that a good proportion of management is done virtually rather than face to face nowadays. It will also address the fact that it is highly likely – almost guaranteed sadly – that a member of your team will experience anxiety or other mental health challenges at some point during your career as a manager. The session will give you a framework to support you to recognise the signs that colleagues are struggling and give suggestions on how to respond.
The workshop is open to anyone who is new to line management or who wants to strengthen their line management skills.
