Welcome! Parents Advancing Reading Transformations (P.A.R.T.) is a program designed to build on parents’ strengths by offering literacy-based learning opportunities that enhance their ability to support early literacy at home, strengthen their role as community leaders in education, and deepen connections with schools.

The goal of P.A.R.T. is to equip families with resources and information to:

  • Gain confidence to support and advocate for your child’s learning.
  • Understand how your child learns to read and how you can help at each stage.
  • Build literacy-rich homes that are fun and engaging for children.
  • Share tips and strategies to help your child with reading based on their unique needs.
  • Connect with other parents who understand the challenges of supporting kids with reading.
  • Access fun, easy-to-use activities and resources to try at home with your child.

This program is a safe and inclusive space for all community members. Any information shared in this registration form will remain confidential and will only be used to help us better support families and students.

This bilingual program will be conducted in English and Spanish.

Free childcare is available for children aged birth to 9. Spaces are limited, and availability is not guaranteed with participation.

El programa Padres Avanzando Transformaciones de Lectura (P.A.R.T.) está diseñado para fortalecer las habilidades de los padres al ofrecer oportunidades de aprendizaje basadas en la alfabetización. Estas oportunidades mejoran su capacidad para apoyar la lectura temprana en el hogar, fortalecen su papel como líderes comunitarios en la educación y profundizan las conexiones con las escuelas.

El objetivo de P.A.R.T. es proporcionar a las familias recursos e información para:

  • Ganar confianza para apoyar y abogar por el aprendizaje de su hijo/a.
  • Comprender cómo aprende a leer su hijo/a y cómo puede ayudarle en cada etapa.
  • Crear hogares enriquecidos con alfabetización que sean divertidos y atractivos para los niños.
  • Compartir consejos y estrategias para ayudar a su hijo/a con la lectura según sus necesidades únicas.
  • Conectarse con otros padres que comprenden los desafíos de apoyar a los niños con la lectura.
  • Actividades y recursos divertidos y fáciles para probar en casa con su hijo/a.

Este programa ofrece un espacio seguro e incluyente para todos los miembros de la comunidad. La información compartida en este formulario de inscripción será confidencial y sólo se utilizará para ayudarnos a brindar un mejor apoyo a las familias y los estudiantes.

Este programa es bilingüe en inglés y español.
