1-Day ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Class
1-day ServSafe® Food Protection Manager course is an intensive, instructor-led training designed to prepare food service professionals for safe, compliant kitchen operations and exam preparation. This course meets Florida Department of Health and DBPR requirements for food safety manager certification.
Participants will gain a strong understanding of foodborne illness prevention, proper food handling, sanitation, and managerial food safety responsibilities. The class is ideal for restaurant owners, food truck operators, caterers, commissary kitchen users, cottage food operators transitioning to commercial production, and kitchen managers.
What You’ll Learn:
· Foodborne illness and prevention strategies
· Time & temperature control for safety (TCS foods)
· Personal hygiene and employee health policies
· Cross-contamination and allergen awareness
· Cleaning, sanitizing, pest control and more.
Class Format:
· One full day of instruction (approx. 4 1/2 hours)
· Instructor-led review
· ServSafe® Manager Certification Exam administered the same day
*This is a fast paced course with a lot to cover. Because we will not be able to cover everything in four hours, you will need to study prior to attendance.
Certification:
Upon passing the exam, participants will receive their ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification, valid for 5 years.
