On Sunday, November 23, treat yourself to a captivating experience at the Jones Mansion where culinary tradition meets history ! For over a decade, research historian Casey Heilman has studied and experimented with cultivating and pickling rare historic varieties of produce, giving you the chance to take a bite out of history literally. Join her for a brief discussion as you graze on a selection of sweet and savory pickled delights, including lemon curd, pickled peaches, cowboy candy, and more. This relaxing afternoon program ( before the holiday season begins ) will start at 1:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 1:00 p.m. Admission includes light refreshments and a grazing table with a historic twist.
