Participants taking the class will learn the basic techniques required to create a personal tray to hold dip and chips, veggies, fruits, etc. The dish will then be altered by adding shapes, cutouts, textures, etc. The shape will then be altered based on your imagination. Participants will come away from the class with an understanding of clay materials and tools that can be used in altering ceramics. While first-time participants will learn the basics, the instructor will allow the opportunity for those with more experience to expand upon their known techniques and gain "tricks-of-the-trade" to improve their skills.
THIS IS NOT A POTTERY WHEEL CLASS.
During the 1.5-hour class, participants will make a project that will be allowed to dry at the studio and will be fired in the kiln. After two weeks, participants will return to paint their pieces.

Times: 6-730 AGES 10 and up
Cost (non-refundable and paid in advance): $45+tax
Return to paint on or after August 28, 2024.
What's included:
Cost of the class includes class instruction, clay to complete a project, firing in the kiln and returning to paint after 2 weeks.
Class fee is NON-REFUNDABLE but can be transferred to another person if something comes up.
NOTE: Children under 15 MUST be accompanied by an adult to assist as needed.
