About this Event
How can libraries address the needs of patrons experiencing housing issues, mental illness, addiction, and other stressful circumstances while supporting front line staff? How do we provide accurate resources for employment, immigration, and other legal needs? Explore the intersection of libraries and social work as a means for serving your entire library community. Library social workers will demonstrate models for offering social services in libraries of all sizes and budgets, including staffing, partnerships, and internships. With two panel discussions and a Q&A session, there will be ample opportunities to ask questions and network at this interactive mini-conference.
