The Tacoma Police Department is launching Service Saturdays, a quarterly community service initiative dedicated to fostering empathy, unity, and care for our city’s residents.
Our first event:
Saturday, April 19th
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Spring Ridge Assisted Living – Memory Care (6856 Portland Ave., Tacoma, WA 98404)
Our mission for the inaugural Service Saturday:
Play bingo with residents
Provide lunch for the residents
Lift spirits through meaningful conversations
Share heartfelt cards made by local elementary school students
