Seniors who rely on the Meal on Wheels program do not typically get a meal delivered on Christmas Eve. Not until Unity of Wilmington started filling the gap back in 1995! The 30 meals they provided back then has increased to 600 meals.They need our help to assure that no one is hungry on Christmas Eve.
We have committed to providing 25 family sized lasagnas. You can make your favorite recipe from scratch using a disposable 10” x 14” foil pan OR you can purchase a Stouffer’s Party Size frozen lasagna.
Bring your pipin’ hot, ready to eat lasagna to 717 Orchard Ave at 9:30am Christmas Eve.
You can also be part of the crew that packages the meals. All are welcome…kids and adults. If you can volunteer plan to arrive at 9:30am and stay until noon.
