DATE CHANGE: NOW SEPTEMBER 14TH! SERVICE DOG MEET UP AT THE PENNSYLVANIA RENAISSANCE FAIRE
This meet up is open to any service dogs and service dogs in training and their handlers (I will ask the 2 legal questions to anyone interested in joining, if I don't already know you). Gates open at 11am, plan is to meet at the Bosworth Battlefield at 12 noon. This should give everyone time to get here and parked (traffic is thick!) and explore a little bit. The group is by no means expected to stick together the entire time. I myself am planning to stay until the final joust and will also be entering into the "You Tried Wizard Tournament". I would love to get a group picture before anyone splits ways.
You are welcome to dress up, but are by no means expected to. This is a JUDGEMENT FREE meet up. meaning, be kind to everyone no matter your views/beliefs regarding things like gender identity, individual's disabilities, fashion sense/costumes, training methods, and each individual dog's point in their training journey. Remember, this is meant to be a fun get together for sd's and their handlers and also a great training opportunity.
Please note: the Faire is pet friendly, you will be encountering well trained and not so well trained dogs here. There is also a feral cat colony on the grounds as well as a couple of cats that hang out with/are owned by LaForge Blacksmith. please keep that in mind when choosing whether to come or not.
