About this Event

Healthy Planet Project is excited to expand our services to the South Bay on Saturday, February 21! We're honored to partner with San Jose Mayor, Matt Mahan, on a communtiy beautification effort supporting a local neighborhood.

Hunter will host a group of volunteers for a community clean up, alongside other volunteer teams working on a variety of improvement projects throughout the area. We're grateful to join forces with our community partners - Beautify San Jose, Trash Punx, and the San Jose Earthquakes - for a collective effort to make a difference and connect with others.

Following the service project, volunteers will enjoy lunch, fun in the sun, and a special meet-and-greet with Hunter Pence. Plus, every volunteer will receive a ticket to watch the San Jose Earthquakes at their home opener later that evening!

Space is limited. Volunteers under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and children must remain under parent/guardian supervision at all times.

Schedule:

8:30 AM - Check-In

9:00 AM - Welcome Remarks with Mayor Matt Mahan & Hunter Pence

9:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Community Clean Up

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Lunch provided by Ike's Loves Sandwiches

Details:

Exact location will only be shared with registered volunteers one week before the event.

You will be outside! Soak in the sunshine but be ready for any kind of weather (cool, hot, fog, wind, etc).

Recommended apparel: close-toed shoes, jacket or sweatshirt, hat, sunscreen (layers recommended).

Please help us be more sustainable by bringing reusable water bottles. We will have water jugs on site to refill your bottle.

All tools will be provided for the clean up.
