Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Fundraising to celebrate Faheem's life!Thanks to all your contributions, we are going to:
- get a bench installed on Southampton Common (more info tba)
- organise a memorial service for Faheem in Southampton
- dance to his favourite songs at Titchfield Community centre
- send money to the Olive Branch and ADHD UK
The day will be roughly organised like this:
- 2:00 - 3:00pm - Memorial service in Southampton (more details tbc)
- 3:00 – 3:30pm - Tea and cakes in the same place
- if the bench will be set up by then we can walk down to the Common and gather there
- free time/dinner
- 7:30 – 11:30pm - Dance for Faheem, at Titchfield Community Centre
We will share more information about the event and details about parking, dining etc. later, so mark as "going" or "interested", and you will get notifications for all updates and posts.
As we will be creating a book of memories, please start collecting stories (text or voice recording), pictures and videos of Faheem or with Faheem. I will collect this before the event, if possible, so everyone who will be there that day will be able to look at them/listen/watch. Considering there will be people attending from the University, the Hospital and the dance scene, in this way we will be able to remember Faheem and all his various passions together.
If you are happy to share anything yourself during the memorial, please let me know, as there will be some time for this!
