1) FIT – Friends in Transition (9am – 12noon) meet at the IKEA Parking Lot 1103 N 22nd St Tampa – provide a smile, a meal, and encourage those in need. Chris/Jane Doiron, Tony Scaglione, and Tyler Wolles will be leading this team.
2) New Life Village Back to School Bash (11am-2:30pm) meet at 4926 Venice Lake Ave Tampa, gate code is #6294 – provide bounce houses, games, crafts, and hot dogs. Aaron Goette will be leading this team.
3) Bags of Hope/Backpack Distribution Prep (9am – 12noon) at church – create goodie bags to distribute to those without a home and also set up for “Backpack Sunday.” Roslyn Brown will be leading this team.
4) Ybor City Rehab (11am – 2pm) – visit with and encourage local residents, meet at 1709 N Taliaferro Ave Tampa. Mike Huster and Jeff Schultz will be leading this team.
5) BTW Elementary Spruce-Up – (9am – 12noon) 1407 Estelle St Tampa, Volunteers will meet at the school at 9am to help spread mulch, pick up trash on the campus, and assist teachers with preparing for the start of school. Jared Jones will be leading this team.
6) Broward Elementary Spruce-Up – (9am-12noon) 400 W Osborne Ave Tampa, Volunteers will meet at the school at 9am to help spread mulch, pick up trash on the campus, and assist teachers with preparing for the start of school. Allen Guy will be leading this team.
7) Providence House – Brandon (9am-12noon)1506 Portsmouth Lake Dr. Brandon, This group home will support families in crisis, and provide children with safe and stable environments. Volunteers will be painting interior walls and Liz Irving will be leading this team.
8) Church Patio/Building Spruce Up (9am – 12noon) – Volunteers will work on various projects that may include the patio, interior and exterior beautification. Paul Wirth will lead this project.
