Throughout the existence of mankind, we have found symbolism and a deep connection to the animal kingdom. Historically the serpent or snake has been viewed as an evil being that corrupted the Garden of Eden, a religious misperception. In yogic philosophy, the practice of Kundalini yoga awakens your Kundalini Shakti, or serpent power. This serpent power connects you to your sacral chakra and divine feminine essence. Shamanic medicine teaches us how the serpent is related to the four directions, connected to the winds of the south and the spiritual underworld, showing us our past, shadow self, and what needs to be released. In the Chinese zodiac the snake represents wisdom, intuition, and transformation. Gather for a spiritual journey into the Chinese Lunar New Year as we welcome the year of the snake. Deonna will guide you through transformative yogic movement and breathwork to move and release stuck energy. Wriggling out of your old serpent skin to reveal the fresh pink underbelly, a dance of renewal and rebirth. Movement will turn to stillness as you rest in a guided serpent spirit journey supported by sound and reiki. Closing with a releasing ritual and an opportunity to share your experience with a loving, sacred community.
Beginner to advanced yogis are welcome.
