Two Northern Beaches bands join together to form the formidable…‘SERIOUSLY IN KAHOOTS’
Helen Holman (Vocals) is a versatile singer with a powerful voice and the ability to cover many different genres. Through school she performed in most of the schools' musical productions and formed her first cover band. Performing on New Faces with Bert Newton, she was placed second in her heat. The pub rock scene in Australia in the 80s was vibrant and Helen performed with many bands at most of Adelaide’s premier venues. Influences are vast and varied from Barbra Streisand and Whitney Houston to Nickelback and Foo Fighters. She is also an enormous fan of 80s Aussie music.
Rob Grant (Drums) is a solid drummer with years of experience having played with musicians from Cold Chisel, Dynamic Hepnotics & Bondi Cigars. He also played on the legendary Countdown with Ray Burgess and Norman Gunston.
Richard Howard (Bass) took up the guitar as a small child, when he was bored with Mr. Squiggle. Discarding his rattle for a harmonica, what followed has been a closely kept secret, but he hit the road at 12 years of age and a chance meeting in a smoky bar led him to appearing on national TV. The rest, as we say, is history.
Keff McCulloch (Guitar/Vocals) has been a musician, engineer, producer and writer - the main theme and incidental music for Sylvester McCoy's years as "Dr Who" and the score of the film "White Mischief" being two of his projects. After touring with bands such as 'Pickettywitch' and 'Pete Haycock's Climax', next came sessions with the likes of Acker Bilk, Johnny Logan, Boy George, Go West and Dollar. He loves working with Helen who has, "one of the most powerful voices I have ever had the pleasure of working with!"
