About the Instructor: Keena Nichelle Graham is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She became obsessed with finger weaving after watching a Choctaw demonstrator at Moundville, just12 miles south of her hometown. It started off as just making friendship bracelets for classmates. However, after learning about the history of twining and finger weaving her creations expanded to sashes, necklaces, bags of all kinds, and even large tapestries. Since then, she has had her work displayed in Alabama, Tennessee, New Jersey, and in Pennsylvania. But no matter how elaborate a piece is, we must not forget that the start of everything is a knot.
