Serenity Within: Yoga Nidra with Gong Meditation
Join us for a nurturing Yoga Nidra experience in a compassionate community, featuring guest Eve Smith of Sanctum with Eve, who will enhance the guided meditation with gong meditation healing. The practice of Yoga Nidra is for Every-Body! It fosters deep relaxation and inner awareness, benefiting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Compassionate Atlanta and Legacy Decatur present Susanne McMurry of Serenity Healing Arts and Eve Smith of Sanctum with Eve (sound bath) for a special class to support Refugee Women’s Network. Suggested donation of $20 (or pay what you can).
(RWN) is a 501c3 organization serving refugees resettled in the state of Georgia. RWN inspires and equips refugee and immigrant women to become leaders in their homes, businesses, and communities. For more than 20 years, they have continued to be the only organization in Georgia that specifically serves refugee women.
📍 Location: Legacy Park, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030
- Take the second entrance from either direction to find the main building with two large columns.
- Class is held in the auditorium. Arrive at 5:45pm. Doors close at 6:00pm.
🧘 What to Bring: Yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and water bottle for your comfort. Extra props will be available.
