This year’s Serendipity Garden tour is on Saturday June 22, 2024, from 10am to 3pm rain or shine! Sponsored by the Greater Elmer Area Historical Society (GEAHS), this self-guided tour will have 10 private gardens from Elmer, Pittsgrove, & Upper Pittsgrove - some old, some new. Certain gardens will feature an artist, musician, and a lecture on Victorian flower meanings. Also on the tour will be Copper Knolls Lavender Farm, and two wedding venue/florists: A Garden Party and Slabtown Petal Pickers. On this year’s tour there will be a “beer garden” at the Lost Elephant brewery in Elmer and perhaps a special beer just for the GEAHS tour. Tickets are now on sale at the following establishments: A Garden Party, Bostwick’s, Garden Road Greenhouses, and Sweet Things with Styles. The early purchase price is $12 while those purchased the day of the tour - June 22nd will cost $15.
The tour begins at the GEAHS (117 Broad Street, Elmer, NJ) which will open at 9:30am and tickets will be redeemed for a garden map to all the stops. There will be complimentary water and sweet treats available as well as chance to win a prize.
