The Austin Opera’s 15th annual Serenata Fine Wine Dinner and Auction, Ópera y Sazón, will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Four Seasons Austin Hotel celebrating Latin American music, composers, and storytelling. This season’s event will honor Michael and Patty Erspamer for their longstanding contributions to Austin Opera, and Mike’s transformative tenure as President of the Austin Opera Board of Trustees in his final season in this important role. Austin Opera also recognizes PNC Bank as a Community Honoree at Serenata for their outstanding philanthropic support of the arts in Austin.
Serenata: Ópera y Sazón takes you on a flavorful and lively journey to Latin America where everlasting memories will be ignited as the vibrant cultural traditions of the Americas intersect with the power of the operatic medium. Ópera y Sazón will feature décor bursting with the color and vitality of Latin America, dancing to a live band, a gourmet Latin-themed dinner curated by Executive Chef Elmar Prambs and Executive Sous Chef Abril Galindo, and exquisite wines selected by our Wine and Spirit Sponsor, Twin Liquors. The evening will also feature luxury live and silent auctions as well as an unforgettable performance by Austin Opera Principal Artist Liliana Guerrero.
