It's Comedy presents a work in progress show from fast rising star Serena Smart + support in Elephant Castle at Spit and Sawdust.
Serena Smart - Never met a girl like her (WIP)
Serena Smart is your new best friend, you just don’t know it yet. Equal parts loveable and chaotic, Serena’s blend of witty observations and surprising stories has been described as “unusually sharp and distinctive” (Chortle) and “usually just weird” (her ex). Serena has made it to the finals of British Comedian of The Year, West End New Act of the Year and Max Turner Comedy Awards and was ranked the no.1 funniest female comic of 2023 by Ranker.com (for a day).
In her debut show, Serena explores how her determination to be positive and see the best in people has filled her life with chaos, whimsy and a healthy dose of danger. From boxing men in the streets of Barcelona, to going skinny dipping with 5 Albanians she met in the club, her stories will leave you laughing, crying and absolutely convinced that you’ve never met a girl like her.

Marc Salmon - offbeat stand up, songwriting funnyman and improviser. Taking a wry and often surreal look at life, Marc interweaves self-deprecating stories with silly songs and physical comedy. Marc is a unique up and coming act producing lots of big stupid laughs.
