Join us for our September Women's Non-Fiction Book Club IN-PERSON session! This month we'll be reading Essentialism by Greg McKeown. It's a NYT bestseller that has been called “A timely, essential read for anyone who feels overcommitted, overloaded, or overworked.”
As always, you're invited to join us no matter how far along you make it in the book. I'll strive to share a summary document a few days before our call in case you want to read the cliff notes!
More details about our book club are below:
No judgment: I know we're all busy bees, so here's the deal: Feel free to come to discuss the book regardless of how much of it you've read, if you've jumped around in it, if you've listened to it on audiobook... This is a no-judgment zone!
Bonus Resources: Feel free to introduce other resources on the topic of the month (time management) in our Facebook group!
Facebook Group: If you want to share reading recommendations and related articles or generally stay in touch between meetings, join our FB group!
Kid-Friendly: We welcome any kiddos (Oddstory is very kid-friendly)! We, of course, would like to have a great, thought-provoking conversation, but I firmly believe that can happen with a baby strapped to your body or your older kids entertaining themselves. Personally, I won't be bringing my toddler because with him being his current age, I have NO idea how to have a conversation with him present-- but whether you bring your kids is up to you!
Open to any other wonderful women you know: Invite your friends; the more the merrier!
