We're BACK ! For now, Ontario is still in Stage 3 and we can still have outdoor meetups ! ?
Join us at Sunnyside/Gzowski Park, on the Lakeshore, for a new formula on your favourite Film and TV Networking evenings.
Obviously, since this will be happening outdoors in a park, it is weather depending, and since we don't know what the state of the rules will be by then, it is also depending on the COVID rules that will be in application on August 26th, which could evolve one way or the other.
The event will be confirmed the day before on August 25th, and attendees will receive a confirmation email/notification.
BUT, in any case, if you attend :
you will of course be asked to respect the covid rules in place at the time.
For now, it looks like gathering will be authorized for up to 100 people and we will still have to stay 6 feet apart. Wearing a mask isn't mandatory, since we will be outside, but it is if you can't stay 6 feet apart from the people in your cluster.
Of course, if you feel sick, have a fever, a cough, or don't feel comfortable with attending such an event, please, don't put yourself and others in a bad position, and wait for the next one, when things will hopefully be easier and better.
At the Park, there are washrooms, an awning to and lots of trees for those who won't want to bask in the summer sun, and even the beach. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks for a picnic, but remember that the consumption of alcoholic beverages and littering are illegal in parks in Toronto. There is also a small bar/café right there, and it is open for counter/take out service.
Bring your smiles, but no business cards : all contact info exchange should be done electronically.
