You are invited to attend the September 18 meeting of The Page Turners Book Club at the Chatsworth Murray Library. We will be disciplining “The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir,” by Griffin Dunne. Fascinating story of a family with an all-star cast. Griffin rose to fame as David Naughton’s “undead” friend in “An American Werewolf in London” and has always worked in theatre & film. His Dad was Dominick Dunne, the famous writer who had an amazing early TV career. His uncle John Dunne (also famous) was married to Joan Didion (a serious writer) and his sister Dominique Dunne as just getting her acting career started when she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. And that is just a taste. The book is available for loan at the library (which is part of the NW GA branch that includes the Dalton library) on PINES, ebooks & audiobooks can also be borrowed through the Libby & Palace apps using your local library card.
