2. REthink Nillumbik is hosting their monthly 'Lost Skills' event teaching practical, hands-on skills. This month is the Japanese technique of sashiko mending (SOLD OUT).
3. The Edible Hub community garden will be hosting their free monthly food swap, PLUS they'll have a range of plants for sale from between $2 and $10.
4. Pam from the Edible Hub will be chatting with people about how to manage Queensland fruit fly in home fruit and vegetable gardens.
5. Plus it's the first chance to use our exciting new COMMUNITY SEWING MACHINES! We'll have two brand-new machines available at the monthly repair cafe for the community to use. You can use a machine to tackle your own mending tasks, make a small creative project, or just practise your sewing with advice from our volunteer repairers.
