Individuals 50 and older are welcome to join us for September's LAAF (Living Abundantly After Fifty) gathering on Tues., Sept. 16 at 10 AM. This month's program will be presented by Rev. Christy Krispin, local Christian vocalist and ministry leader. All are welcome to have lunch together after the meeting at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Road. Every month the group hosts a mission action project and this month's project is a collection of the following items for local public schools. If you are planning to attend, please bring donations from this list:
- Pads, tampons, and panty liners of all sizes
- Black leggings for women
- Cough drops and peppermints
- Men's and women's mini deodorant
- Individual packs of tissues
- Chapstick
