Hi Friends,Please join us in the Treehouse gazebo in a couple of weeks for a 2nd summer kirtan— where we’ll join our voices in sacred song, surrounded by nature and (likely) farm animals.
Kirtan is the practice of devotional chanting — repeating ancient mantras in a call-and-response style that’s both meditative and uplifting. You don’t need to know the words or have any musical experience. This isn’t a performance — it’s an invitation to come as you are, to let sound move through you, and to feel the joy and peace that rises when we chant together.
When we sing mantra in community, something beautiful happens — our hearts soften, our nervous systems settle, and a quiet joy begins to rise. It's a powerful reminder that we're not alone — we are part of something ancient, loving, and alive.
Whether you’ve been to many kirtans or this will be your first, I would be honoured to chant with you.
Jill Higgins and I welcome you to join us! If you are old hands at kirtan and would like to lead a chant, you are also welcome to do that, please let me know in advance.

💛 Bring: A blanket or cushion to sit on, water, and an open heart
