*Meet at the top of “Four Mile”. All the way in the back of the forest, where the pavement ends.*Join KV Trails at our next “First Saturday” monthly trail event and workday. For the month of September, we are focusing our efforts at Kanawha State Forest.
With your help, we can move some dirt on Saturday, September 6th at 9:00 AM. Show up 30 minutes early to join a representative of our Trails Committee for coffee, donuts, and relevant trail-related information. We will have a brief tailgate safety meeting prior to the start of work.
Among other things, we plan on filling in a few holes created by fallen trees. If you have any of the following items, consider bringing them with you:
Mattock or heavy-duty hoe
Shovel
Five gallon bucket
It is highly recommended that you also equip yourself with sturdy shoes, leather work gloves, and eye protection.
