Join us for First Friday on September 5 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.Cars will fill parking areas as well as the interior lanes on Broad Street. Live music will be performed from locations on the sidewalk, food vendors serving cool drinks and tasty treats, and our downtown retail stores and restaurants will stay open late to welcome attendees. Broad Street will close to vehicle traffic at approximately 3:00 p.m. for event setup.
A great entertainment lineup will include Connor Butler at 2nd & Broad, Ed Protho at 3rd & Broad, Sherwood Seven at 4th & Broad, Foggy Hollow at 5th & Broad, and The Northeastern Steppers on the 600 block.
Be sure to include a visit to the Center for Cultural Arts and Gadsden Museum of Art to see their great exhibits.
The guidelines for First Friday include no pets, no personal coolers or glass containers, no skateboards or roller blades and no advertising or fundraising.
