Join the Buddy Holly Center on Friday, September 5, from 6 to 9 pm for the First Friday Art Trail! This month we’ll be featuring the exhibition On the Prime Meridian.Artist Willa Finley enchants with her geographically, and culturally informative photograph series of England and Ghana, the northernmost and southernmost points of the Prime Meridian. Through her photographic emphasis on light, texture, and energy, she offers a view of interconnected human experiences, and the wonder of it all.
Don’t miss the interactive element! Scan QR codes throughout the gallery using the Google Earth App to explore the exact locations featured in the photographs. Pick up the map cards in our galleries, and using the QR codes to assist you in finding locations, complete the card. When you are finished return it to the gift shop for a prize!
Be one of the first nine participants to complete the Map the Journey game and receive a special 5x7 matted print from the exhibition!
