It’s time to get our 9th race (show) on the road!! Time to lace them shoes up and bring out all the roadies for this month’s event. September will be “favorite band” themed 5k race. The points race has never been tighter and it is truly anyone’s race at this time. For all you first timers, this is a monthly handicap race meaning you race against your predicted time. Walkers and runners divisions. Here are the details:When: September 7th, 7:00 am meet time. 7:15 curtain goes up (race time).
Where: Lee Health Coconut Point (23450 Via Coconut Pt. Estero)
Distance: 5k
Theme: wear your favorite band t-shirt
Potluck afterwards with a tailgate theme.
**Bonus points for an existing runner who brings someone new to join. New runners will receive “first time” bonus points as well.
