Community Sewing Class
Taught by Stitching Change
For anyone in the community, age 12 and up.
$7 per class or $18 for all three weekly sessions.
Choose from morning or afternoon classes:
Wednesday Morning Classes: Sept 3rd, 10th & 17th, 10:30am-12:30pm
or
Wednesday Afternoon Classes: Sept 3rd, 10th & 17th, 1:30-4:00pm
The 3 weekly sessions are continuous, starting at the basics to completing a project, so we encourage you to sign up for all three morning or afternoon weekly sessions, but it's okay if you can only sign up for a one-time class and learn the basics. Our teachers will start you at the beginning or based on your skill level.
You will learn:
Day 1: The basics of a sewing machine, sewing equipment, types of fabrics, and measurements.
Day 2: Using and cutting patterns; Start sewing a simple product.
Day 3: Complete your product and take it home with you!
Supplies are provided.
All the proceeds from the tickets will go to support our community programs.
