About the Bands:
🎶 Side of Beets is a special, stripped-down combo spun off from Eugene’s beloved band, The Sugar Beets.
Born out of jam sessions in University of Oregon dorm rooms, The Sugar Beets have been making joyful music together for over 35 years. They've headlined iconic events like the Oregon Country Fair, Eugene Celebration, and Willamette Valley Folk Festival, and played renowned stages including The Cuthbert Amphitheater, The McDonald Theatre, and The Hult Center. A local favorite, they’ve been named “Best Band” multiple times in the Eugene Weekly’s Best of Eugene awards.
