Sisters Nora and Agnes are reunited with their absent father, the charismatic Gustav – once a celebrated director, who now offers actress Nora a role in what he hopes will be his big comeback. Joachim Trier wrote the screenplay together with Eskil Vogt. The duo is behind all of Trier’s films and were Oscar-nominated for the screenplay of The Worst Person in the World, which was also nominated for Best International Film.
