The program fee is $5.00 per person.This program is ideal for individuals with sensory processing challenges. The various reptiles and amphibians of the nature center will be on display as a naturalist explains the adaptations of the animals. From a tactile standpoint, students will be able to hold various shells, other bones, snakeskins, and more. Sensory toys such as fidget spinners will be available. We will also have several noise-cancelling headphones on hand. Naturalists will explain the order of the lesson to help kids to follow along and know what to expect and lights will be dimmed for a calming experience for all.
