During Sensory Friendly time, you can see and touch biofacts, including eggs and feathers, and enjoy a sensory-friendly version of Passport to Parks, presented by AAA Travel at 11 am. Plus, visit our sensory table and explore our Interactive Play Spaces, including a larger-than-life Draw Alive station.
Sensory Bags from KultureCity, featuring items like headphones and fidget toys, are available to borrow daily at the National Aviary. A helpful sensory guide to the sights, sounds, and climate of the Aviary’s habitats can be viewed in advance AND during your trip.
