About this Event
On Sensory-Friendly Sundays , our new exhibitions and activity areas will be open extra early for a quieter experience and modified to suit people on the Autism spectrum and visitors with a range of differing abilities.
Our trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to facilitate creative activities.
Sessions
- Sunday 29 September, 8.30am - 11.30am
- Sunday 13 October, 8.30am - 11.30am
- Sunday 17 November, 8.30am - 11.30am
- Sunday 22 December, 8.30am - 11.30am
For our Spring sessions, we're offering early access to the museum galleries including Wildlife Photographer exhibition, James Cameron Challenging the Deep interactive exhibition, HMAS Onslow Submarine and our activity areas for Sensory-Friendly Sunday guests.
Sensory Friendly Sundays include optional access to an Underwater drones workshop ( suitable for visitors 7+ years).
In School Holidays additional programs such as relaxed performances will also be available as part of the day's program.

- Adult/child: $12
- Children under 4 and members/companion card holders: Free
