Join us for a Sensory-Friendly Pumpkin Painting Event at our Therapy FarmThis two-hour inclusive event is designed for children ages 3–10 and features sensory accommodations to create a welcoming environment for families with special needs. Aimed explicitly at engaging military families—both active duty and veterans—who may have limited access to inclusive community events, the goal is to provide an enjoyable, supportive experience where families can spend quality time together. In addition to promoting awareness of the services offered by TOP, the event highlights three main interactive activities: pumpkin painting, sensory bins, and horse grooming—all set in the calming environment of the farm.
This event serves as both a meaningful family experience and an opportunity to connect with the community while showcasing TOP’s services offered.
Pumpkin painting- Will have a station for painting medium-sized pie pumpkins with brushes or finger paint.
Sensory bins- Bins filled with an assortment of fall-associated ideas such as dried corn, acorns, pinecones, pecans (in shell), pumpkin seeds (wet), small squash, etc.
Horse grooming- Expose children and family members to the equine aspects that TOP offers.
