New England’s largest production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol returns to the main stage. Adapted by president and CEO Troy Siebels and featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, our 17th annual production is set with timeless music, colorful costumes and spectacular lighting and scenery. New and returning cast members tell the tale of curmudgeonly miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the Spirits of Christmases Past, Present and Yet To Come. This performance is intended for guests who are neurodiverse, have sensory sensitivities and need additional accessibility accommodations. With guidance from The Arc of Opportunity, The Autism Alliance, The Autism in Theatre Initiative and The Seven Hills Foundation, we have softened the most startling moments of the show. House lights are kept on but dimmed for the entirety of the performances and sounds are lower in volume and intensity.
Accommodations of support will be provided, including a quiet area for individuals and families that need a break from the experience where staff and volunteers can assist patrons’ needs.
Tickets are $16, $26 and $31. All tickets to this performance are half price made possible by sponsorship of UMass Memorial Health and UMass Chan Medical School. Please contact the box office at 877.571.7469 for more information.
