NPDT's Sensory-Friendly Nutcracker Reimagined is a performance that has been modified to be more comfortable and welcoming for people with sensory sensitivities or other learning, social, or cognitive disabilities. These performances are designed to be a fun experience for the whole family. The performance will take place at Broomfield High School on Friday, December 12 at 6:30pm.Modifications include:
- Sound: Re-mixed to reduce loud or high-pitched sounds
- Lighting: House lights remain on
- Movement: Allowing movement, vocalization, and other behaviors of audience members
- Relaxed entry/exit: Allowing guests to leave and re-enter freely
VIPs may bring assistive technology and engage with the performance as needed, including standing, walking around, or taking breaks.
