Sensory Friendly Evening: Flight Deck

The Intrepid Museum offers Sensory Friendly Evenings for teens (14+) and adults with autism. Explore the Intrepid Museum after hours during a fun sensory-friendly evening with friends and family. All registrants receive a social narrative before the program.

Visit Intrepid’s flight deck, where aircraft took off and landed. Explore the many airplanes and helicopters in the Museum’s collection and go behind the scenes to take a closer look at some of these amazing aircraft without the crowds.

This program will be outdoors, and all visitors must follow the Museum's health and safety guidelines. More details about guidelines and policies will be sent to all registrants ahead of the program, along with the social narrative. In the meantime, learn more here: .
