This two day course is product of collaboration between myself and Human Movement Coach, Jacqueline Grangien. We have discovered fascinating similarities between concepts of movement in horses and humans. We approach our work from a bio-psycho-social perspective which heavily influences how we manage treatment and training.
It's crucial to recognise that horses and humans are not purely biomechanical beings; our thoughts, impulses and emotions are profoundly expressed in our movement.
Distilled from years of learning and clinical experience, this course seeks to help riders and their horses develop a more confident and graceful partnership by harnessing the power of sensory awareness.
This course also includes a video library of all the exercises (and more) we will cover and detailed written content.
Day 1
With a mix of theoretical and practical exercises, deep dive
into the art and science of both horse and rider
movement to discover that it’s more than just biomechanics
Day 2
Put day one into practice by getting on your horse, or working with them on the ground and experience your newfound skills and knowledge with guidance from Steph and Jac (45 minute session).
